Yomiuri Shimbun publication column Shiki 「四季」
Yomiuri Shimbun (10 million circulation in Japan) has a column “Shiki” (“Four Seasons”), in which haiku master Kai Hasegawa introduces classic and modern tanka and haiku every day. His keen view shows a deep understanding in short poems, sometimes even deeper than the poet. An anthology of these columns is published every year as a book.
